2. FRONT RISE: With the pants buttoned up, spread the pants on the floor or table; next remove all wrinkles, and measure this region by starting from crotch seam spot to the spot of the waistband.

3. HIP: Measure across the hip area, this is in most cases 1 1/2 inches below the zipper.

4. THIGH: Starting at the crotch seam and ending 1–2 inches below the hip area.

5. LENGTH: With the pants buttoned up, spread the pants on a table, floor or any other flat surface, with outseams on both corners. After removing all wrinkles and any fullness, measure the length from the top of the waistband.

6. KNEE: Next remove any wrinkles and fullness if present. Measure across the knee area.

7. INSEAM: Having the pants buttoned up, spread the pants on a surface flat. Now measure the inseam gap from the crotch, at the spot where the front and back seams meet, exactly where, depends on the length you desire ultimately.

8. LEG OPENING: Now in the last step follow the same pattern as the previous steps, which is spread the pants on a flat surface e.g. table or floor. After removing any fullness or wrinkles, start measurement beginning from one side of the leg opening to the other side of the leg opening.

Description

Made from a smooth silk sateen and detailed with our Padme Dots pattern in blue, the Nadia Pant boasts a high waist, wide legs, and a button and clasp closure. The Padme Dots design gives off a vintage polka dot vibe in blue and red, and pairs perfectly with our Hearts in a Row Turtleneck in black.

Padme is a feminine name of Sanskrit origin, meaning "lotus flower." The Lotus of Life pattern in this collection was inspired from the painted ceiling of the Meenakshi Sundareswarar Temple in Madurai, South India, which depicts a stylized 1,000-petaled lotus flower—a symbol of elevated consciousness.

The Lotus Flower

Emerging pure and beautiful from murky waters, the lotus flower symbolizes resilience, purity, and enlightenment. Its daily cycle of blooming and retreating signifies renewal and strength in the face of adversity. Representing transcendence, the lotus inspires us to rise above challenges and embrace new beginnings with a pure heart and enlightened mind. Its deep spiritual significance reminds us of our potential for growth and transformation, urging us to renew our energies and emerge stronger, just like the lotus does each day.

Fabric & Care

97% silk 3% elastane

Wearing silk clothing is traditionally associated with spiritual benefits arising from its symbolism of purity and luxury. Its smooth texture is thought to aid in balancing the body's energy flow and promoting harmony. Silk enhances focus and tranquility, making it ideal for meditation. It also plays a role in preserving the body's energy balance and safeguarding against negativity, similar to a cocoon protecting a silkworm during transformation.
